Kiss Me, I'm Sweet!

The weather has gotten a little bit chilly again after yesterday's heat wave! How did you all go celebrate the warm weather? On the plus side, it's very sunny out so that alone should put you in a good mood! Today, the new Jeni's in Wicker Park is having their grand opening! They have free scoops between 7pm and 10pm so make sure to head over there because who doesn't like free ice cream??

Some of my favorite flavors include: brambleberry crisp, brown butter almond and the sparkling pear! I was also able to try their limited edition toasted brioche with butter & jam at their Southport location and that was quite lovely as well! Have you been to Jeni's? What are your favorites?

David's Tea is also offering a free cup of tea for anyone wearing green today so go in and get your free cup to go with your ice cream! They have a couple of locations so find the one closest to you! 

If you're in the holiday spirit, the Sauced Market is having their "Kiss Me, I'm Sauced" event tonight from 6pm to 11pm at the Emporium at Logan Square. 

 

If you want a more traditional lesson on Saint Patrick's Day, head over to the Irish American Heritage Center! They have events that are family-friendly from 11am to 10pm! 

 

I shall be hopping around town tonight so maybe I will catch some of you lovely folk there! Check out the maps if you want to go to any of the events this evening!
