Halal Guys In Chicago!
Hello, hello all!
It's come to my own attention that I want to be able to blog about more than just food sometimes so I will be expanding my horizons and become a lifestyle blogger with a main focus on food! I hope that you will still all continue to support and join me in my ventures as you have before! I am very grateful to each and every one of you! If we haven't met in person yet, I hope to meet you soon! Thank you in advance for all of your love! I will work my hardest in order to bring you the tastiest and realest updates!
And now, on to the post!
During different times, I've had various people come in and out of my life. Sometimes, I get perplexed as to why this happens. Other times, I accept that things will flow as they should. As it goes, we can't please everyone so we should just do what makes us happy! I've met some wonderful people and had some amazing encounters. I'm grateful to everyone that I've met because either way, I have learned something.
Tonight, I had the pleasure of attending the Halal Guys' preview event with Joanna from Grace In Style. This lovely woman was the perfect date and we had a great time laughing and sharing stories with each other! Of course, we both bonded over our reminiscent times in New York waiting in line for the Halal Cart. The excitement is just too much! Now Chicago has its own location, it's like a dream come true! Thank you to the owners, Steven and Vincent for the invitation and letting me have this experience! I was able to also meet up with various bloggers and Instagrammers at the event as well. The Halal Guys are opening their first location outside of New York and they decided to bless Chicago with their presence. They plan on opening 4 more in Chicago, so let's make sure to give them a hot welcome!
So what exactly do these guys offer and why is it such a big deal? Well, take a look for yourself!

It was absolutely scrumptious! It's been so long since I have been able to taste the food from the Halal Guys! Now I don't have to fly over to New York every time I get a craving. Tender chicken and juicy gyro with seasoned falafel, it's a filling meal. This place is also opened until 4am on the weekends so if you need a break from your festivities, it's conveniently located in the Gold Coast. The white sauce is addictive and be careful with the spicy red sauce! It'll leave your mouth on fire if you're not careful! One dot goes a long way!
So what do you do? When can you get your own Halal Guys' meal?
Well today (8/20) at 6pm, the first 100 customers will be served and will get their own yellow chic drawstring bag as well as a hand fan!
On Saturday (8/22), the Halal Guys will officially have their grand opening and will pass out drawstrings and hand fans until they run out! Make sure to go grab a meal and get some goodies! This will begin at 11am!
As we enjoy all the new things in our lives, let's take this time to be grateful. So often we get wrapped up in joy and pain, we forget to be grateful for everything that is present, here and now. If not for these experiences, we would not be who we are today. So let's rejoice! We are who we are and if we're not happy with it, we are lucky enough to be able to make a change!
Now that I have decided to make the switch to be a lifestyle blogger, I will try my best to have more updates! Please be patient as I adjust to this change. Thank you so much in advance!
